HuDost returns to Sarasota in full ensemble mode for a concert at Unity of Sarasota on Saturday April 8th. The band will consist of Moksha Sommer & Jemal Wade Hines along with Chuck Mauk on drums, Michael Murphy on bass, Grace Mauk on keys & special guest Stephanie Heidmann on vocals. More guests TBA.....
The music of HuDost, the Neo Folk World Rock Ensemble from Montreal and Kentucky, weaves a seamless tapestry of sound that renders tears and laughter in listeners, cultivating that nameless longing that abides somewhere in all our hearts.
HuDost's music is a rich, eclectic blending of Pop and Rock with traditional Sufi music, Farsi, Turkish, Arabic, and Folk. Their sound crosses all borders and barriers, taking the listener on a journey they will never forget.
